

Upon completion of their studies for the first-level Academic Diploma in Electronic Music, students must have acquired specific technical and cultural skills that will allow them to concretely realize their artistic idea. To this end, particular emphasis will be placed on the study of the electroacoustic, historical and contemporary musical repertoire, and on the in-depth study of their own analytical methodologies, including the history of electroacoustic and information technologies applied to music. These objectives will also be achieved by promoting the development of hearing perception and memorization skills, particularly in the field of sound materials specific to the electroacoustic musical repertoire.
Upon completion of the three-year program, students must have acquired a thorough knowledge of the general and specific stylistic, historical, and aesthetic aspects of the field. In addition, with reference to the specific nature of the course, students must possess adequate skills in the use of electroacoustic and computer instruments, as well as design skills for installations dedicated to the performance of the specific repertoire. It is also an educational objective of the course for students to acquire adequate proficiency in a second language of the European Union.

Final test
- Performance of own electroacoustic pieces (on magnetic tape – audiophile or for instruments and live electronics), possibly in connection with images (on your own video or on an already existing video).
- the drafting and discussion of a thesis carried out under the supervision of a professor of theoretical disciplines having as its object the in-depth study of historical and/or stylistic character of the chosen pieces.

The second-level academic diploma course in ELECTRONIC MUSIC aims to provide students with advanced training for the full mastery of artistic methods and techniques and for the acquisition of high-level professional skills. Upon completion of their studies, students must have acquired specific technical and cultural skills that will allow them to concretely realize their artistic idea in the field of electroacoustic composition.
To this end, particular emphasis will also be placed on the study of the electroacoustic, historical and contemporary musical repertoire, and on the in-depth study of their own analytical methodologies, including the history of electroacoustic and information technologies applied to music. Upon completion of their studies, students must have further deepened their knowledge of the general and specific stylistic, historical, analytical and aesthetic aspects of their chosen field. In addition, there will be activities to verify the knowledge of a second European Community language (German, Italian, English) at least at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Final test
- a) the drafting and discussion of a scientific paper on a topic agreed with a teacher of the theoretical-analytical-musicological-pedagogical disciplines and of at least 75,000 characters in length (including spaces, excluding preface, index, bibliography and any other apparatus (iconography etc.));
- b.1) the drafting of an important acousmatic composition including the use of new technologies, on a track assigned by the Course Council 60 days before the date of the final test; there composition must include adequate care in the electroacoustic orchestration and spatialization of sound and may also use the visual medium alongside the electroacoustic one. The realization must be followed by the candidate in all production phases and accompanied by presentation and analysis texts, to be forwarded to the Course Council at least 30 days before; or:
- b.2) the drafting of an important mixed composition that includes the presence of instruments and audio processing in deferred time and/or live electronics; the composition must provide adequate care in electroacoustic orchestration and in the spatialization of sound and will also be able to use the visual medium alongside the electroacoustic one. The implementation must be followed by the candidate in all stages
- production phases and accompanied by presentation and analysis texts, to be forwarded to the Course Council at least 30 days before.
Curriculum Arti Creative Sonore (ACS)
